How to clean your blue light glasses?
Welcome to Blackview blog.
The blue light blocking glasses need to be cleaned regularly to maintain their effectiveness and clarity. Over time, the lenses can accumulate dirt, dust, and smudges that can interfere with their ability to block blue light and cause eye strain. Cleaning blue light glasses is a simple process that can be done with a few basic supplies:
1. Use a microfiber cloth: The best way to clean blue light glasses is to use a microfiber cloth. This type of cloth is specially designed to remove dirt and smudges without scratching the lenses. Simply wipe the lenses gently with the cloth until they are clean.
2. Use lens cleaner solution/mild soap and water: If your glasses are particularly dirty, you can use a lens cleaner solution or mild soap and water solution to clean them. First, rinse the lens with water to remove any loose dust or debris. Then,
a) Apply a small amount of lens cleaner solution to a microfiber cleaning cloth. Do not use regular household cleaners or paper towels as they can scratch the lens. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion, starting from the center and working your way outwards. If there are any stubborn smudges or fingerprints, you can moisten the cloth slightly with water or rubbing alcohol before wiping the lens again. Finally, use a dry portion of the cloth to buff the lens until it is completely dry and clear.
b) Or, mix a small amount of soap with warm water and dip the microfiber cloth into the solution. Gently wipe the lenses with the damp cloth and then dry them with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
3. Avoid using harsh chemicals: Harsh chemicals such as ammonia, bleach or vinegar can damage the coating on your blue light glasses. Avoid using these types of cleaning agents when cleaning your glasses.
4. Store your glasses properly: When you're not wearing your blue light glasses, store them in a protective case to prevent scratches and damage.
In summary, to clean blue light glasses, use a microfiber cloth, mild soap and water if necessary, avoid harsh chemicals, and store them properly when not in use.
