While Christmas is a major holiday and most grocery stores close on Christmas Day, there are a few exceptions and some that have limited hours. Here's a breakdown:

Generally Closed:

Major chains: Kroger family (Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, etc.), Costco, Walmart, Target, Aldi, Publix, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Meijer, Winn-Dixie, Sprouts Farmers Market, Lidl, Giant Eagle, Wegmans.

Some Open with Modified Hours:

ACME: Open with modified hours.
Albertsons: Select locations open with varied hours.
Giant Food: Select locations open from 8 am to 5 pm (pharmacies likely closed).
