Blackview Alife S1gets a CyanogenMod 12.1 build

The Blackview Alife S1 might not be the newest phone in town, but the phone just got a new lease of life thanks to a new ROM.

The Alife S1 now runs CyanogenMod 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1. Considering that the phone isn’t powered by the most powerful processor in the MediaTek MT6592W, the new ROM should give the device some extra snappiness that would've been missing from the original ROM.

If you aren't aware, the Blackview Alife S1 dates back to last year (which in the smartphone language is quite a long time), and comes with a 5-inch HD display, Quad-core MediaTek MT6732 procesor. It has a long life battery and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with a 5 mega-pixel front snapper.

You should rejoice if you own one of these, for CyanogenMod 12.1 should extend the usability of the Blackview Alife S1 by a couple or so months.
